Lowell Indiana is currently home to about 10,000 residents, and growing consistently every year. It was founded by a flour mill owner Melvin Halsted, who built the towns first church, schoolhouse, and brick house, and then moved his family in. His house still stands today as a museum.

This proud town is still rooted in its history with the Labor Day Parade being the oldest, consecutive running parade in Indiana. The downtown area is also on the Historical National Registry and is home to many antique shops. If you are looking to get away to the country and slow down, get back to naturethis small town community is for you.
